Using this website
This website (www.datarich.info) is run in partnership between ESRI UK (InstantAtlas) and Richmond Council (Insight & Analytics).
InstantAtlas have conducted a Web Accessibility Overview outlining how InstantAtlas reports, dashboards and websites meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
Please see the information below which covers the remainder of the website.
We want as many people as possible to be able to use DataRich. To help achieve this, we:
- Publish an alternative to PDF documents with limited accessibility – usually HTML but Word Document format is used where HTML is not possible
- Structure pages, headings, tables and bulleted lists consistently
- Use descriptive titles and link text
AbilityNet has advice on making your device easier to use if you have a disability.

Issues with PDFs and other documents
Some of our older PDFs and Word documents do not meet accessibility standards – for example, they may not be marked up so they are accessible to a screen reader.
The accessibility regulations do not require us to fix PDFs or other documents published before 23 September 2018 if they are not essential to providing our services.
We will work to ensure key new documents meet accessibility standards.
Parts of the website do not currently meet contrast standards. We are working with InstantAtlas to improve our contrast ratio.
How we tested this website
The Insight & Analytics team also manually review and update the site to maintain any parts that digital testing cannot cover.
What we’re doing to improve accessibility
When we update our website we will carefully monitor new content to ensure it meets accessibility standards.
We will work to improve the accessibility of documents published on the website.
We are currently working with InstantAtlas on issues surrounding colour contrast across the website. In the meantime, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you require content with a more accessible contrast ratio.
